NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY
REQUIREMENTS: The candidate must have at least a 3.6 cumulative scholastic average in regular or advanced classes with an unmodified curriculum and have attended Enterprise Junior High School for at least one semester. TRANSFER STUDENTS: Students who have already been inducted into the NJHS while attending another school will be accepted into membership here after verification of membership in good standing at previous school has been provided.
SPONSORS: The sponsor is Denise Weems. For further information you may see Ms. Weems in room 12 before or after school or call 347-1733 between 8:00 - 9:11 a.m. weekdays.
PROJECTS: At the beginning of each year we have one fundraiser. The NJHS provides treats for honor roll students each nine weeks. We also give snacks and small gifts to our teachers during American Education Week Our major project is conducting a meaningful induction ceremony for incoming members. Ninth grade members are recognized at the school awards night ceremony each year..
FUN: Each year we have fun activities to reward our members for their accomplishments. Some past favorites have been a luau celebration, Mardi Gras party, and a pizza party.
